We are building a comprehensive platform for cattle management where farmers to AITs (Artificial Insemination technicians), para vets, veterinarians, consultants and corporates can collaborate and benefit each other using data. Nitara offers an easy-to-use artificial intelligence.
We are looking for a Business Development Associate who will be responsible for the efficient & smooth functioning of all NITARA Projects. The successful applicant will work with and support the network development of dairy stakeholders (dairy farmers, service providers, dealers, stockists, etc). This post is designed to develop and deliver a wide range of initiatives that will increase usage of the technology through NITARA, hence making it a Data-Driven Dairy farming community.
Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans).
Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan.
Provide after-sales support to retain customers.
Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries.
Build strong client relationships, through regular communication.
Report on the status of accounts.
Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
Develop, train, deploy and monitor account handling team to manage clients.
Generate marketing content from the field.
Suggest company products/services that maximize client satisfaction.
Communicate product and pricing details clearly.
Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to create customized sales plans for key clients.
Promote new products/services to existing customers.
Proven work experience as a Junior Account Manager or relevant sales role
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
High degree of professionalism
Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
BSc degree in Agribusiness Administration, Marketing or relevant field.
Effective presentation skills.
0- 3 years of experience working in the agriculture market. Understanding dairy farming is an advantage.
Prior experience working in digitization drive/technology tools will be given an advantage.
Experience in planning and organising campaigns that are designed to improve the quality of life of communities and that utilise community development approaches.
